Sound and Sound Insulation: RLU - IML is applied with the DUCORK RLU - IML bonding method depending on the condition of the surface (wall and ceiling) to be applied. If the surface to be bonded is not smooth, it is applied with any kind of tile adhesive and sheathing plaster, if the surface is smooth, it is applied with solvent-based adhesives. DUCORK RLU - IML boards are placed in such a way that there is no gap between them. After the bonding process of the material is completed, plaster, gypsum plaster with plaster mesh or normal plaster can be easily applied on it. Materials that will create a sound bridge such as nails, dowels and screws are never used for sound insulation.
Impact Sound Insulation: RLU - IML In the general application of RLU - IML, before pouring the leveling concrete on the floor, the material is placed without leaving any gaps between them and is glued point by point. In addition, a 10 cm high board is placed at the bottom of the wall. After the rolls are placed, both the floor and the side walls are insulated from noise and impact sounds by pouring the leveling concrete.
Floor Applications: RLU - IML Cork mattress can be easily used in almost all floor coverings. It shows extremely good performance in sound and heat insulation compared to other products depending on the floor type. Cork mattress protects the material used against moisture, insects, mold, impacts and bacteria, regardless of the type of floor covering preferred on the floors used. It also prevents static electricity. The recommended cork mattress thickness is between 2-6 mm depending on the floor covering type and the area used. It is extremely easy to apply.
