Sheet-Film
Product Code: Sheet-Film
Description: PTFE sheet is manufactured by pressing and sintering granulated resin in a mold. With its excellent physical and chemical properties, it has a wide range of use between -180 0C and 260 0C. PTFE can be reinforced with materials such as glass fiber, carbon, graphite, molybdenum disulfide and bronze to improve its mechanical properties. Alloy materials increase the mechanical strength, stability and wear resistance of PTFE, while not adversely affecting its other properties. It has advantages such as being resistant to chemical corrosion, weather resistance, excellent dielectric properties, high lubricity, non-sticking and not being easily damaged.
Application Area: It has a wide application area between -180 ºC and 260 ºC. It is widely used in the production of cables used in aviation and computer technologies, in fuel and hydraulic lines due to its very low fluid resistance, in the production of seals and packings used in shafts, pumps and valves due to its low friction resistance, and in the production of gear-like parts due to its non-stick properties.
